Japanese Fruit Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

4 egg yolks, beaten
2 c. sugar
1 c. butter (not melted)
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. nutmeg
1 heaping tsp. baking powder
4 egg whites, beaten stiff
3 c. flour
1 lb. raisins
1 tsp. cloves
1 tsp. allspice
2/3 c. milk
Preparation

Cream butter and sugar.
Mix together all dry ingredients except for 1/2 cup of flour which you will add to raisins.
Mix all together, except for egg whites and raisins.
After mixing well, fold in egg whites, then fold in raisins.
Bake at 350\u00b0 until cake tests done.
Makes 3 layers.
