Baked Lima Beans - cooking recipe
Ingredients

3 lb. dried beans (lima or other)
1 lb. sliced bacon
1 large can tomato juice
3/4 bottle Karo syrup
1/2 box light brown sugar
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. pepper
Preparation

Soak beans in pot of cold water overnight.
Cook beans
next day for 20 minutes, then pour into a large roasting pan.
Add bacon cut into pieces, can of tomato juice, Karo syrup, brown sugar, salt and pepper.
Bake in oven at 350\u00b0 for 2 1/2 to 3 hours until soft.
