Jam Nut Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. butter
    2 c. sugar
    1 c. buttermilk
    2 c. jam
    2 c. nuts, chopped
    6 eggs
    2 tsp. cinnamon
    2 tsp. cloves
    2 tsp. nutmeg
    1 box raisins, ground
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 1/2 tsp. soda
    3 c. flour
Preparation
    Mix all ingredients together and bake until well done.
    Makes 3 layers.
    For fruit cake, add 1 jar candied fruits to cake batter.
