Peach Parfait Pie - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 pkg. strawberry Jell-O
1 1/4 c. hot water
1 pt. vanilla ice cream
1 c. drained, sweetened, sliced peaches, fresh or frozen
1 baked 8-inch pie shell, cooled
Preparation

Dissolve Jell-O in hot water in 2-quart saucepan.
Add ice cream by spoonfuls, stirring until melted.
Chill until thickened, but not set (15 to 20 minutes).
Fold in drained peaches.
Turn into pie shell.
Chill until firm (20 to 25 minutes).
Garnish with whipped cream and additional peaches, if desired.
