Vegetable Cheese Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. mixed frozen vegetables
    1/2 c. chopped onion
    1/4 c. margarine or butter
    1/4 c. flour
    dash of pepper
    2 c. milk
    1 (10 3/4 oz.) can chicken broth
    4 oz. (1 c.) American cheese
    1/2 tsp. dry mustard
Preparation
    Add onion to vegetables; cook according to package directions. Drain.
    In medium saucepan, melt margarine.
    Stir in flour and pepper.
    Add milk all at once.
    Cook until thickened, stirring constantly.
    Add vegetables and rest of ingredients.
    Cook until thoroughly heated.
