Mrs. Artie'S Peanut Brittle - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. water
    2 c. sugar
    1 c. white syrup
    2 c. raw peanuts
    2 Tbsp. butter
    2 tsp. baking soda
    1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Bring 1/2 cup water to boil.
    Then add 2 cups sugar and 1 cup white
    syrup.
    Stir
    until\tdissolved
    and boil until it will spin a
    thread.\tAdd
    2\tcups raw peanuts and cook slowly over low fire until
    it turns a golden brown.
    Take from fire and add 2 tablespoons
    butter,
    2 teaspoons baking soda and 1 teaspoon vanilla.
    Stir
    quickly.
    Spread
    on two large cookie sheets that have
    been\twell
    buttered.
    Place\tin cold area. Break into pieces when cold.
