Red Velvet Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. butter or margarine
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    2 eggs
    2 Tbsp. cocoa (unsweetened)
    1 oz. red food coloring
    1 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 c. buttermilk
    1 1/2 tsp. vinegar
    1 tsp. soda
    2 1/2 c. cake flour
Preparation
    Buttermilk can be made by putting 1 tablespoon of white vinegar in a measuring cup and then adding milk to the 1-cup mark. Let sit for about 3 minutes; stir and use.
