Lemon Sauce(For Bread Pudding Or Pound Cake) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. sugar
    1 Tbsp. cornstarch
    1 c. boiling water
    1 Tbsp. butter or margarine
    1 1/2 Tbsp. lemon juice
    1/2 Tbsp. grated lemon rind
Preparation
    Mix
    sugar and cornstarch, add boiling water gradually; stirring
    until
    smooth.
    Cook 5 minutes or until thick, stirring constantly on medium heat.\tAdd butter, salt, lemon juice and lemon
    rind.
    A little yellow food color may be added, if desired. Spoon over pound cake slices or bread pudding.
