Mexican Rice - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 small onion, chopped
1/2 small green pepper, chopped
1 Tbsp. olive oil
1 clove garlic, minced
1/2 c. long grain rice
1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce
1 (10 1/2 oz.) can beef broth
several dashes of Tabasco pepper sauce to taste
Preparation

Saut onion, green pepper and garlic in oil until onions are opaque. Add rice and saut until rice is lightly browned. Add the tomato sauce, beef broth and Tabasco. Simmer, covered, until liquid is absorbed (approximately 20 minutes). This is a great side dish with steak.
