Chess Pie - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. sugar
1/2 c. cream or Pet milk
1/4 c. margarine
1 Tbsp. cornmeal
1 tsp. vanilla
2 eggs
Preparation

Cream butter and sugar.
Add beaten eggs.
Beat until smooth. Add cornmeal to cream.
Add to first mixture.
Add flavoring. Stir until smooth. Pour into unbaked pie shell.
Bake at 350\u00b0 to 375\u00b0 until pie is set and crust is brown.
