Ruth'S Sugar Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 3/4 c. flour
    1 tsp. soda
    1/2 tsp. salt
    2 tsp. baking powder
    1/2 c. Crisco
    1/2 c. margarine or butter
    2 c. sugar
    2 eggs
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 c. buttermilk
Preparation
    Sift into a large bowl the first 4 ingredients.
    Make a well and add shortening. Mix until smooth. Cover tightly and store overnight.
    Drop by spoonfuls on a greased pan.
    Sprinkle with sugar.
    Bake 8 minutes at 425\u00b0.
