Ingredients

1 c. butter or margarine, at room temperature
3/4 c. sugar
1 small (3 oz.) pkg. cream cheese, at room temperature
1 egg
1/2 tsp. vanilla
2 c. all-purpose flour
Preparation

Preheat oven to 325\u00b0.
Place butter, sugar, cream cheese, egg and vanilla in a bowl and beat with electric mixer until blended. Add flour and beat until well blended.
Drop dough by rounded tablespoonfuls onto ungreased baking sheets, spacing cookies 1 inch apart.
Bake for 20 minutes.
Let cool.
Makes about 36 cookies.
