Divinity - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 c. sugar
1/2 c. Karo syrup (white)
1 tsp. vinegar
1/2 c. water
2 egg whites
1 tsp. vanilla
dash of salt
1/2 to 1 c. nuts
Preparation

Cook sugar, syrup, water, vinegar and salt on high heat until it spins a thread.
Start eggs to beating when thread spins and beat real stiff.
Pour over beaten eggs while still beating.
Add vanilla and nuts after candy begins to thicken.
Drop on wax paper and cool.
