Lemon Meringue Pie(Heritage Recipe) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (9 inch) frozen ready to bake pie crust
    1/3 c. cornstarch
    1/8 tsp. salt
    1 c. sugar
    grated peel of 1 lemon
    1/2 c. lemon juice
    4 eggs yolks
    1 Tbsp. butter or margarine
    1 1/2 c. water
Preparation
    Bake pie crust as label directs.
    In saucepan, stir cornstarch, salt, and sugar. Stir in 1 1/2 cups water, lemon peel and juices; cook over medium heat, stirring constantly until lemon mixture is thickened and boils; remove from heat.
