Bran Rolls - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. sugar
    2/3 c. shortening
    1 c.100% Bran cereal
    2 tsp. salt
    2 eggs
    2 pkg. yeast
    1 c. warm water
    7 c. plain flour
Preparation
    Pour 1 cup boiling water over first four ingredients and stir until dissolved.
    Let cool.
    Add eggs and yeast which has been dissolved in 1 cup warm water.
    Gradually beat in flour and mix well.
    Put in refrigerator and use as needed.
    Form into rolls and let rise about 2 hours.
    Bake at 400\u00b0 until brown.
