Stuffed Peppers - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 lb. ground beef
2 c. Pepperidge Farm stuffing mix
1 egg
1/4 c. ketchup
1 small onion, chopped
salt and pepper to taste
1 pint tomato juice
Preparation

Brown ground beef and drain.
Mix together with stuffing mix, egg, ketchup, onion, salt and pepper.
Arrange peppers in baking dish.
Stuff with beef mixture.
Pour 1 pint tomato juice over peppers.
Place in oven and bake at 350\u00b0 for 20 to 25 minutes. Just before serving, place slices of American cheese on top.
Melt cheese.
Serve immediately.
