Festive Marinade - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3/4 c. sugar
    1 tsp. salt
    1 1/2 tsp. garlic powder
    3 1/2 c. pineapple juice
    1 1/4 c. cooking sherry
    1 c. soy sauce
    1/2 c. red wine vinegar
Preparation
    Combine all ingredients; mix well.
    Pour over beef, poultry or fish.
    Marinate 24 hours.
    Makes 7 cups.
