Meringue Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 egg whites
    1/8 tsp. cream of tartar
    1 c. sugar
    1 c. nutmeats
    6 oz. chocolate bits
Preparation
    Beat egg whites and cream of tartar into stiff peaks.
    Add nutmeats and chocolate bits.
    Drop by the teaspoonful onto foil-lined cookie sheet.
    Put in a 450\u00b0 oven, turn off heat and leave overnight.
