Jalapeno Cornbread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. flour
    1 c. stoneground cornmeal
    2 Tbsp. baking powder
    1 tsp. salt
    2 eggs, beaten
    1/4 c. chopped onion
    1 finely chopped jalapeno pepper
    1/2 c. grated cheese
    1 c. milk
Preparation
    Mix all dry ingredients in mixing bowl.
    Add chopped vegetables, stirring to coat with flour.
    Stir in cheese, then blend in eggs and milk.
    Pour into greased muffin pan and bake 25 to 30 minutes at 350\u00b0.
    Makes 12 muffins.
