Fruit Crumb Bars - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 1/2 c. all-purpose flour
2 1/2 c. quick cooking rolled oats
1 1/2 c. brown sugar
1/4 tsp. baking soda
1 1/2 c. margarine, melted
1 (21 to 24 oz.) can pie filling
1 tsp. shredded lemon or orange peel
Preparation

In mixing bowl, stir flour, oats, sugar and soda.
Stir in margarine.
Spread 2 cups of mixture in an ungreased 15 x 10 x 1-inch pan.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 12 minutes.
Stir peel into pie filling.
Carefully spread on top of crust.
Sprinkle with remaining mixture.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 25 minutes until top is golden.
Cool in pan.
Drizzle icing over.
Cut into bars.
Good plain, better with icing.
