Flank Steak And Green Beans - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 to 1 1/2 lb. flank steak
    1/4 c. soy sauce
    2 tsp. sugar
    1 tsp. cornstarch
    2 Tbsp. oil
    2 pkg. frozen French-cut green beans
    1/2 c. water
Preparation
    Trim fat from steak.
    Cut across grain into quarter-inch strips; then cut strips into 2-inch lengths.
    Combine soy sauce, sugar and cornstarch; blend well.
    Pour over steak.
    Marinate for 1 hour.
    Drain and reserve marinade.
    Heat oil and add steak strips. Cook, tossing to brown on all sides, about 3 minutes.
    Remove steak from pan and add green beans and reserved marinade.
    Add water. Reduce heat, cover and simmer 5 to 7 minutes or until tender.
    Add steak.
    Serves 6. (This is a good low fat, low calorie main dish.)
