Tea Cakes - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. butter
    1 egg, beaten
    1 c. sifted plain flour
    1/2 c. sugar
    1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Cream butter and sugar.
    Add egg and vanilla, beating well. Blend flour into mixture.
    Drop by teaspoonful of mixture onto greased cookie sheet 2-inches apart.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 10 minutes. Makes 2 dozen cookies.
    Slide cookies off with spatula onto wire rack to cool.
