Fruit Bread - cooking recipe
Ingredients

3 1/4 c. sifted flour
4 1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/4 tsp. salt
3/4 c. marmalade
2 tsp. vanilla
1 egg, beaten
1 c. milk
3/4 c. cherries
3/4 c. walnuts
Preparation

Mix marmalade with 1 teaspoon of vanilla; set aside.
Mix flour, baking powder, salt and sugar.
Make a well in dry ingredients.
Add beaten egg, milk, marmalade and remaining teaspoon of vanilla.
Mix until blended.
Fold in cherries and nuts.
Place in large, greased loaf pan.
Let stand 10 minutes. Bake at 350\u00b0 for 1 hour.
