Zucchini Bake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 lb. zucchini, cut in 1/4-inch slices
    1 1/2 lb. ground beef
    1 onion, chopped fine
    salt to taste
    dash of oregano and garlic (if desired)
    1 c. uncooked rice
    1 pt. small curd cottage cheese
    1 can mushroom soup
    1 1/2 c. grated Cheddar cheese
Preparation
    Parboil zucchini 5 minutes.
    Drain.
    Dip in cold water.
    Saute ground beef and onion and drain.
    Salt to taste.
    Add oregano and garlic if desired.
    Butter a 9 x 13-inch casserole.
    Put layer of zucchini on bottom, meat and rice next, then cottage cheese (dab here and there).
    Spread mushroom soup on top.
    Sprinkle cheese on top.
    Bake at 325\u00b0 for 45 minutes.
