Never Fail Cupcakes - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 egg
    1/2 c. cocoa
    1/2 c. shortening
    1 1/2 c. flour
    1/2 c. sour milk
    1 tsp. soda
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 c. sugar
    1/2 c. hot water
Preparation
    Put all ingredients together in order given; beat thoroughly. Fill cupcake pans 3/4 full and bake at 350\u00b0 for 25 minutes.
    Makes about 1 1/2 dozen.
