Peach Bavarian Dessert - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (16 oz.) can sliced peaches
    1 (6 oz.) peach Jell-O
    1/2 c. sugar
    2 c. boiling water
    1 tsp. almond extract
    1 (8 oz.) Cool Whip, thawed or 1 (12 oz.) Cool Whip
Preparation
    Drain peaches.
    Reserve 2/3 cup juice.
    Chop peaches into small pieces.
    Set aside.
    In bowl, dissolve gelatin and sugar with boiling water.
    Stir in 2/3 cup of juice.
    Chill until slightly thickened; stir in almond extract in Cool Whip.
    Fold gently into gelatin.
    Reserve some Cool Whip for top of dessert.
    Fold in peaches.
    Chill overnight.
    Top with Cool Whip and additional peaches, if desired.
