Banana Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 c. cake flour
1 tsp. salt
2 1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 c. shortening (butter is best)
3/4 c. milk
1 1/2 c. sugar
2 eggs
1/3 c. mashed ripe bananas
1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation

Sift flour once.
Measure and sift again with salt and baking powder.
Cream shortening, 2 tablespoons of milk and sugar together until light and fluffy.
Add eggs, one at a time, beating after each.
Add banana pulp.
Combine remaining milk and vanilla.
