Bean Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. ham, diced small
    1 c. onion
    1 c. celery
    green pepper (optional)
    2 cloves garlic
    1 tsp. garlic salt
    1 c. carrots, diced small
Preparation
    When beans are done, mash 1 cup beans per pound and return to pan.
    Liquid should be soupy.
