Sour Cream Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 sticks margarine
    3 c. sugar
    6 eggs, separated
    1/2 pt. sour cream
    3 c. flour, sifted
    1/4 tsp. baking soda
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1/4 tsp. mace
    1 capful butter flavoring
Preparation
    Cream butter and sugar.
    Add egg yolks, one at a time, beating well after each addition.
    Add sour cream, flour and soda.
    Fold in beaten egg whites (stiff, but not dry), mace, vanilla and butter flavoring.
    Bake in a greased, lightly floured tube pan in 325\u00b0 oven for 1 to 1 1/2 hours.
    Invert pan on plate until cool.
