Speedy Chili - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. low-fat ground beef
    1 large onion, chopped
    1 clove garlic, crushed
    1 (16 oz.) can tomato sauce
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1/8 tsp. pepper
    3 to 4 Tbsp. chili powder
    1 c. water
Preparation
    Combine first 3 ingredients in a Dutch oven; cook until beef is browned, stirring until it crumbles.
    Drain.
    Add remaining ingredients; cover, reduce heat and simmer 30 minutes, stirring occasionally.
    Yields about 4 cups.
