Nancy'S Congealed Red Applesauce - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 small pkg. cherry jello
    1 c. hot water
    1 c. applesauce
    1 c. hot water
    2 Tbsp. red hots (candy)
    Cool Whip
Preparation
    Cook red hots in 1 cup water until melted.
    Dissolved gelatin in 1 cup hot water.
    Mix red hot mixture with gelatin.
    Cool.
    Add 1 cup applesauce.
    Place in refrigerator and let set until firm. Top with Cool Whip.
