Original Toll House Chocolate Chip Cookie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 1/4 c. flour
    1 tsp. baking soda
    1 tsp. salt
    1 c. (2 sticks) butter, softened
    3/4 c. sugar
    3/4 c. firmly packed brown sugar
    1 tsp. vanilla extract
    2 eggs
    1 (12 oz.) pkg. (2 c.) Toll House semi-sweet chocolate morsels
    1 c. chopped nuts
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 375\u00b0.
    In a small bowl combine flour, soda and salt; set aside.
    In large bowl beat butter, sugar, brown sugar and vanilla until creamy.
    Beat in eggs.
    Gradually add flour mixture. Stir in chocolate morsels and nuts.
    Drop by tablespoons onto ungreased cookie sheet.
    Bake 9 to 11 minutes until edges are golden brown.
    Makes 5 dozen.
