Potato Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 to 8 medium potatoes
    1/2 stick butter
    2 c. grated cheese
    1/2 c. chopped onion (optional)
    2 c. sour cream
    1 tsp. pepper
    paprika
    1 tsp. salt
Preparation
    Cook potatoes in skin until barely done.
    Peel and grate coarsely.
    In medium saucepan, heat butter and cheese until almost melted.
    Remove and blend in onion, sour cream, salt and pepper. Stir lightly into potatoes.
    Put into 2-quart casserole.
    Dot with butter.
    Sprinkle paprika.
    Bake 45 minutes at 350\u00b0.
    Makes 6 to 8 servings.
    Can be made day ahead.
    Also good reheated.
