Walnut Crescents - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/2 c. butter
1/2 c. shortening
1/2 c. sugar
1/2 c. nuts, chopped
2 tsp. water
2 tsp. vanilla
2 c. flour
Preparation

Cream butter thoroughly.
Blend in sugar and shortening.
Add flour and nuts.
Chill dough.
Roll dough and cut into crescent shape with cookie cutter.
Bake on ungreased cookie sheet in slow oven for 15 minutes.
(Do not brown.) When cool, dip in powdered sugar.
