Ingredients

3 c. cooked beets
1/2 c. sugar
1 Tbsp. cornstarch
1 tsp. salt
1/4 c. vinegar
1/4 c. beet water
2 Tbsp. butter
Preparation

Mix sugar, salt and cornstarch.
Add vinegar and water; stir until smooth.
Cook 5 minutes.
Add beets to hot sauce and let stand for 30 minutes before serving.
Add butter.
