M.K.C.'S Creamed Mushroom Chicken Breasts - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 chicken breasts (large)
    1/2 c. shortening
    1 c. flour
    6 oz. can sliced mushrooms
    1/2 medium chopped yellow onion
    1/2 medium red bell pepper, chopped fine
    1/2 c. chicken broth
    1/2 tsp. white pepper
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1/4 c. shredded fresh carrot
    1 c. whipping cream
    2 green onions (1/3 c.)
    1/2 c. Parmesan cheese
Preparation
    Cut large chicken breast in half; roll in flour and stir-fry in shortening (1/2 cup).
    Cook until golden brown, then put in casserole dish.
    In stir-fry drippings, combine next 9 ingredients.
    Pour over all chicken breasts; cover with foil. Bake for 25 minutes at 350\u00b0, then sprinkle for topping 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese over all; cover.
    Bake for 10 minutes at 350\u00b0; let set 15 minutes and serve.
    Makes 6 servings.
