Frozen Fruit Sherbet - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. sugar
    2 c. hot water
    1 (6 oz.) can orange juice, thawed
    juice of 2 lemons
    2 chopped bananas
    1 (20 oz.) can crushed pineapple (with juice)
    1 small jar maraschino cherries, chopped
Preparation
    Combine ingredients; place in freezer and stir several times over a 24 hour period.
    This will keep in freezer for several weeks.
    Remove from freezer about 1/2 hour before serving.
    After almost set, you can put in little cups and return to freezer.
