Melt In Your Mouth Chicken Pie - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 1/2 to 3 lb. fryer
1 can cream of mushroom or chicken soup
1/2 tsp. pepper
1 c. buttermilk
2 c. chicken broth
1 stick melted margarine
1 c. self-rising flour
1 tsp. salt
Preparation

Cook chicken until tender.
Remove meat from bone and layer in 9 x 13-inch pan.
In a saucepan, mix soup and reserved broth. Bring to a boil and pour over chicken.
In another bowl, mix melted margarine, pepper, salt, flour and buttermilk.
Mix until smooth.
Spoon over chicken.
Bake at 425\u00b0 for 25 to 30 minutes. (I never cook anything that high.)
I prefer to add a can of Veg-All vegetables over the chicken.
You can also add hard-boiled eggs or other vegetables of choice.
