Lucy'S Peanut Brittle(From The Files Of Lucy Crutchfield) - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 c. sugar
1 c. white corn syrup
1/2 c. water
2 c. raw peanuts
1 heaping tsp. butter
1 tsp. vanilla
1 tsp. baking soda
Preparation

Combine sugar, syrup and water and cook together until it forms a hard ball in cold water.
Then add peanuts and butter and cook in the syrup until slightly browned.
Add vanilla; remove mixture from heat and add soda.
Mix well and pour into buttered pans, spreading thinly.
Cool and break into pieces.
