Blackberry Cobbler - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 qt. blackberries
    2 c. sugar
    3 c. flour
    4 tsp. baking powder
    1/2 c. sugar
    1/2 tsp. salt
    4 Tbsp. shortening
Preparation
    Mix together flour, baking powder, salt, sugar and shortening; add enough milk to make consistency of biscuit dough.
    In bottom of 9 x 13-inch pan, spread blackberries sprinkled with 2 cups sugar; drop dough on top by large spoonfuls.
    Bake at 325\u00b0 until browned on top, 35 to 40 minutes.
