Punch Bowl Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 large can fruit cocktail, drained
    1 can pineapple chunks, drained
    1 yellow cake, baked as usual
    1 large box red jello, prepared
    1 large box vanilla pudding, prepared
    1 large container whipped topping
    maraschino cherries for decoration
Preparation
    In a trifle bowl or other decorative glass bowl, crumble 1/4 of cake, following with each of the other ingredients except cherries.
    Repeat, finishing with whipped topping and cherries.
