Peas In Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen peas
    1 medium onion, chopped
    1/4 c. butter or margarine
    1 can cream of mushroom soup
    1 can sliced water chestnuts
    1 small jar pimientos, diced
    1 can fried onion rings
Preparation
    Cook peas 3 minutes and drain.
    Saute onion in butter.
    Stir in the soup, water chestnuts and pimientos; mix well.
    Bake in casserole for about 20 minutes at 350\u00b0.
    Top with onion rings. Bake an additional 5 to 10 minutes, until onion rings are brown.
