Grandma'S Delight - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 to 4 c. graham cracker crumbs
    2 large bags marshmallows
    2 cans evaporated milk
    1 large can crushed pineapple
    2 small jars maraschino cherries (1 chopped)
    1 c. nuts, chopped fine
Preparation
    In saucepan, melt marshmallows, cream and pineapple slowly. When melted, add nuts and chopped cherries.
    This will be thick. Line a big baking or refrigerator dish with some of the crumbs; add remaining filling and cover with more crumbs but not over 1/4-inch thick or dessert will be dry.
    Take second jar of cherries that have been drained and left whole and put on top of crumbs.
