Rhubarb Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    double pastry for 8 or 9-inch pie
    3 Tbsp. flour
    1 c. sugar
    1 egg, beaten
    2 1/2 to 3 heaping c. rhubarb, cut into small pieces
Preparation
    Sift flour and sugar together.
    Add beaten egg and stir until mixed.
    Add the rhubarb and pour into pie plate lined with pastry. Dot with small amount of butter or margarine if desired.
    Cover with top crust, fastening edges securely.
    Make a few slits on top or prick the center with a fork for air and steam to escape. Bake in 400\u00b0 to 425\u00b0 oven for about 35 minutes or until brown.
