Oatmeal Refrigerator Cookies - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 1/2 c. sifted flour
1 1/2 tsp. salt
1 c. sugar
2 eggs, well beaten
3 c. quick cooking rolled oats
1 tsp. baking soda
1 c. margarine
1 c. brown sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation

Sift together flour, soda and salt.
Cream margarine and add sugar gradually.
Beat until light and then add eggs and vanilla. Combine sifted dry ingredients and creamed mixture.
Blend thoroughly.
Add oats.
Shape dough into rolls 2 inches in diameter.
Wrap tightly in waxed paper and chill.
Cut into 1/8-inch slices.
Bake 1 1/2 inches apart on ungreased baking sheet at 375\u00b0 for 6 to 8 minutes.
Yield:
6 dozen.
