Kathryn Stone'S Sandwich Spread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    12 sweet red peppers
    12 green sweet peppers
    4 large onions
    12 green tomatoes
    1/2 c. flour, mixed with enough water to make a smooth thin paste
    1 (32 oz.) jar Miracle Whip
    3 1/2 c. sugar
    1 c. vinegar
    3 1/2 tsp. salt
    1 c. prepared mustard
Preparation
    Grind peppers, onions and tomatoes. Pour boiling water over vegetables to cover.
    Let stand 5 minutes then squeeze out. Place in large pot and add sugar, vinegar, salt and mustard.
    Bring to a boil and boil 5 minutes, stirring often as it will stick. Remove from heat and add flour mixture and stir well. Add Miracle Whip and stir well. Have canning jars and lids hot. Pour into jars and seal. Lids will seal.
