Orange Slice Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 sticks margarine
    2 c. sugar
    4 eggs
    1/2 c. buttermilk, with 1 tsp. soda dissolved in it
    1 lb. orange candy slices, cut into pieces
    1 can Angel Flake coconut
    3 1/2 c. plain flour
    1 box chopped dates
    2 c. chopped nuts
    1 c. orange juice
    2 c. powdered sugar
Preparation
    Cream the butter and sugar.
    Add eggs, one at a time.
    Add flour alternately with milk.
    Roll nuts, candy and dates in flour. Add coconut; mix all this into batter.
    Bake at 250\u00b0 for 2 to 2 1/2 hours in tube pan.
    As soon as removed from oven, pour a mixture of orange juice and powdered sugar over cake.
    Let stand in pan overnight.
