Heavenly Pumpkin Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 Tbsp. gelatin
    1/4 c. cold water
    1 1/4 c. cooked pumpkin
    3/4 c. milk
    2 eggs, separated
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/2 c. sugar
    1 tsp. pumpkin pie spice
    1/2 c. sugar
    1/2 tsp. vanilla
    1 c. Cool Whip
Preparation
    Soften\tgelatin
    in cold water.
    Place in top of double boiler the
    pumpkin,
    milk, egg yolks, salt, sugar and spice. Cook 10 minutes over boiling water, stirring constantly.
    Stir in gelatin.
    Chill until thick.
    Beat egg whites until stiff, adding 1/2
    cup
    sugar
    gradually.
    Fold pumpkin, vanilla and Cool
    Whip into egg whites.
    Pour into pie shell.
    Chill.
    Top with more Cool Whip.
    This is scrumptious!
