Seafood Gumbo - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. flour
    2 lb. onions, chopped
    1 bunch green onions, chopped
    1/2 c. parsley, chopped
    2 lb. shrimp, peeled and deveined
    1/4 tsp. cayenne pepper
    1 c. oil
    1 c. celery, chopped
    1 gal. water
    1 lb. crab meat
    1 pt. oysters
    salt and pepper to taste
Preparation
    In a gumbo pot mix oil and flour; make a roux.
    Add onions and celery; saute well.
    Stir in green onions.
    Add water and boil slowly for 1 hour.
    Add parsley and shrimp; cook slowly for 20 minutes.
    Add crab meat and oysters.
    Salt and pepper to taste. Serve over rice.
    If okra gumbo is desired, cook down cut up okra until it is not slimy.
    Add okra during boiling period.
