Apple Dumplings(Dessert) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. sugar
    2 c. water
    3 Tbsp. butter
    1/4 tsp. cinnamon
    6 cored and peeled apples
    1/2 c. sugar
    1 tsp. cinnamon
    pie crust dough (enough for double crust)
Preparation
    Boil sugar, water, butter and cinnamon for 3 minutes.
    Set aside.
    Roll out pie dough in large enough squares to cover apple completely.
    Place cored and peeled apple on top of pie dough square.
    Fill the apple with sugar and cinnamon mixture.
    Dot with butter.
    Bring sides of dough over apple and secure edges.
    Place dumplings in baking dish.
    Bake at 425\u00b0 for 45 minutes.
    Baste with syrup mixture periodically.
